Hooky Youth is jointly run with St Peter’s (for up-to-date information see www.stpeters-hooknorton.org.uk) and welcomes all young people from Hook Norton and surrounding villages. 

 

The main Youth Group is for all secondary school age young people and is affiliated with ‘energise’, a youth group support package that is part of Urban Saints (formerly Crusaders).  Young people of Year 7 and upwards are welcome on Friday evenings as shown here.  There is also Outlook for those in Year 10 and over, and:

 

THE DROP

at The Youth Hall (next to the Library)

every Thursday 5pm till 7pm (term-time only)

for anyone in secondary school upwards,
a place to hang out for an hour
with ping pong, pool, Wii, video games etc. all set up!

 

From Friday 4 February a NEW Late Night Drop starts after Energize 8.30pm on Fridays to 11.00pm for the older group.

Energize: 

The Youth Hall (next to Hooky Library) 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm

 

Outlook: 

The Youth Hall, from 8pm

The blog has been updated, everyone is now welcome to add comments. Let us know what you think of the meetings.

Laura and Chris Cooke have now moved up North to Newcastle to work with a charity for youth called the Eden Project. Charlie Smith and Lee Woodward are now the temporary Youth Leaders whilst the church looks for a full-time youth worker for Hook Norton.

The two youth groups, Energize and Outlook are carrying on and so is The Drop.
